Why the difference in price in commercial (business address delivery) or residential delivery? We ship solely using freight trucking companies as the package is too large (not too heavy, but too large), to ship using UPS or similar. These freight companies utilize large trucks to deliver these items. As these trucks were not designed to easily maneuver around neighborhoods (narrow streets, cul-de sacs, long driveways, etc.), as well as they can only leave the box with oyu after someone has inspected, signed, and accepted delivery of the cover, they charge us an additional surcharge to deliver to a residential address (which we do not mark up in any way we just pass it on to the customer).
The good news is that shipping to ANY commercial address saves you $49.00 on your shipping charges when compared to a residential address. The only thing you need is any "bona fide" business address. Any business address will do here. This is classified as any business that is NOT located in a residential neighborhood. This can be ANY BUSINESS ADDRESS - a hair salon, a local Mail Boxes Etc., your favorite restaurant, service station, restaurant, an office...ANY business address!! If you work out of your home...this is not considered a business address in the eyes of the freight company and you will be subject to the residential fee which is an additional $49.00!
Most of our customers accept their shipments at their place of employment to save this additional charge. If that is not acceptable, they normally set this up with a local Mail Boxes Etc. or similar for a minimal charge. If receiving the cover at a commercial address that is not convenient, you if you are near a local freight terminal for our carrier, we can sometimes set it up for you to pick up your cover at your nearest freight terminal (terminal pickup) to avoid the residential surcharge.
